International Joint Industry Project Manager

You will be responsible for the conception, planning, implementation, and tracking of projects to ensure successful delivery and execution. The projects are focused at development, implementation and validation of innovations to improve asset integrity management, such as digitization, robotics, permanent monitoring, and business process improvement for public and industrial infrastructure. In addition, you will be responsible for a portfolio of activities in support of the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative, aimed at accelerating global acceptance and use of robotics for inspection & maintenance.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical and operational feasibility.
  • Writing of project proposals, in close communication with the stakeholders
  • Coordinating internal and external tasks and activities to successfully execute and deliver projects
  • Financial planning and monitoring
  • Manage a portfolio of activities in support of the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships
  • Create, implement and guard formal procedures
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Providing advice on the management of projects
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Represent Quasset at conferences and tradeshows

 

Requirements

  • Technical background, MSc level, preferably in the field of engineering, science or physics
  • Demonstrable interest in business and operational aspects of technology
  • At least three years practical project management experience in technical/operational environment, preferably in petrochemical industry
  • Exceptional presentation and client-facing skills
  • Excellent soft skills and awareness of the needs of stakeholders across many cultures and nationalities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – business-proficient and fluent in English
  • Hands-on mentality, as our projects are executed in small teams
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Team player with vibrant character and leadership traits
  • Work with international stakeholders and across various time zones, requiring flexible working hours
  • Willing and available to travel internationally on a regular basis
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
