PMO Coordinator

based in Hilversum, The Netherlands

For our office in Hilversum, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive PMO Coordinator to help shape and drive our project management practices. In this pivotal role, you will set up and implement project governance and processes across our group, coach project managers, and ensure projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.

You’ll join a team that works at the forefront of technology, helping clients worldwide implement innovations in inspection, asset integrity, and robotics. With offices in The Netherlands, the United States, and the Philippines, we are active across industries and continents.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement standardized project processes aligned with best practices and business needs
  • Coach and support project managers in adopting tools, templates, and governance frameworks
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies
  • Manage project resourcing, ensuring optimal allocation across the project portfolio
  • Provide reporting and insights to our leadership team to support informed decision-making
  • Facilitate PMO meetings, drive follow-ups, and champion continuous improvement

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a PMO or project coordination role.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
  • Proactive, with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently while influencing others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones when needed.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

 

Education & Experience

  • HBO or WO degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in PMO coordination, project management, or similar roles.
