Quasset Test Facility (QTF) has opened in the Netherlands to facilitate the experimentation and validation of robotic solutions for inspection and maintenance. The 600-square-meter testing facility offers a highly flexible and controlled environment, housing a range of decommissioned assets which serve to test crawling, flying and swimming robotic systems.

End-users, suppliers and experts met yesterday at our interactive workshop “Implementing solutions for next-generation tank integrity” to identify current challenges and opportunities within the sector.
One clear takeaway from the day: progress can be accelerated when there is better alignment within the value chain, as well as more collaboration between service vendors and end-users.
