Quasset participation in H2020 PILOTING Project Integration Week
This week an important milestone in the H2020 PILOTING Project: Integration Week!
Members of the PILOTING consortium worked together in small groups, connecting different components of the PILOTING platform and testing the system end-to-end, from smart inspection planning to the robotic mission and post-mission data processing.
Illustrated in the photos, a point cloud model of an indoor testing facility in Spain. A test flight took place utilizing the robotic control station developed by other partners; our working group for this week was with CATEC, INLECOM, ICCSS and USE.
Using the Intelligence and Visualization Portal developed by the Quasset team, the data collected during the mission was visualized.
As we work to harmonize data and create a uniform data set, Integration Week has been a very exciting step in the PILOTING project.
Quasset is a part of PILOTING, a fourteen-member consortium that focuses on the use of robotic technologies to increase efficiency and quality of inspection and maintenance of aging infrastructures. PILOTING is a multi-year, European Horizon 2020 project working towards advancing the adaptation, integration, and demonstration of robotic solutions in an integrated platform which will be tested and evaluated in three large-scale pilots: refineries, bridges/viaducts, and tunnels with the involvement of all actors in the value chain.
