Quasset kicks off 2023 with a New Year’s reception to officially open the Terneuzen office
Quasset kicked off 2023 with a New Year’s reception to celebrate the opening of the Terneuzen office in the Netherlands. Senior International Project Manager Peter Voorhans, who is leading the Terneuzen office, and Quasset CEO Tjibbe Bouma welcomed the guests and opened the event. Terneuzen councilman Jurgen Vervaet joined the reception and ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the opening of the office. Vervaet serves in two council committees: Economy including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and Maintenance and management of public space. To give attendees a well-rounded overview of Quasset’s different services, products and projects, five mini-presentations were given by Quasset employees. The presentations were followed by drinks, appetizers and a friendly robot named Bellabot that helped serve the guests.
Strategically located close to Belgium and France, the Terneuzen location will enable Quasset to further expand asset integrity management services to the region, offering innovative solutions to improve business digital workflows and inspection processes. The Zeeland region, where Terneuzen is located, boasts the highest economical growth in the Netherlands, with a marked increase in the number of projects and local engineers to support innovative projects. The move also increases possibilities in offshore wind energy and the opportunity to test in real-life environments.
