New hires at Quasset expand Innovation Team
We are happy to announce the addition of two engineers to the Quasset team: Hector Hernandez Delgadillo, Asset Integrity Engineer and Borja Martinez Perez, Project Engineer.
In the role of Asset Integrity Engineer, Hector Hernandez Delgadillo will support the innovation team for the development of novel technologies such as non-destructive testing, robotics, virtual reality and data analytics for the asset integrity management of complex infrastructure. Hector will be involved in the full cycle of projects and will be responsible for the planning and execution of projects to ensure successful delivery to Quasset clients across many sectors including water infrastructure, chemical and oil & gas.
Hector Hernandez Delgadillo recently completed his doctorate degree at the University of Twente in collaboration with Wetsus in Leeuwarden, where he developed inspection methodologies for the condition assessment of the drinking water infrastructure. Prior to that, he completed a Master of Engineering at the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. Hector has broad experience with ultrasonic technologies in many fields such as oil & gas, aerospace and water infrastructure.
Hector hails from Mexico, has been living in the Netherlands for more than five years, and is an avid sportsman.

Borja Martinez Perez joins Quasset as a project engineer, responsible for the planning and execution of innovation projects. With almost a decade of experience in asset integrity and risk management in the oil & gas and automotive industries, Borja has managed international projects in complex business environments, fostered B2B partnerships and client development, and led digital transformation projects for major O&G and mining operators. Prior to working for Quasset, he was part of a pipelines integrity management consultancy for long-term asset integrity related projects (e.g. integrity management, risk-based maintenance, data management and Assets Integrity Management Systems (AIMS)). Borja has an academic background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration and recently earned his MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management & University of Cologne. His specialties include regulatory compliance, asset management, GIS, data analysis and risk management.
Borja is from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, is fluent in Spanish, English and German, and in his free time enjoys sports and develop with friends business concepts with a positive social impact.
