Quasset Academy asset management innovation digitalization deployment

Quasset Academy helps companies keep pace with the digital era by organizing workshops and training courses that bring together experts and end-users to explore the latest industry developments and innovations.
In partnership with Deployment Matters, we will organize Achieve Breakthrough Deployment, a series of workshops throughout 2019 as part of the Quasset Academy. These intensive 1-day workshops bring together experts, suppliers and end-users to explore specific industry topics and give participants a practical, hands-on approach to finding solutions. In 2019, four Achieve Breakthrough Deployment workshops are planned, covering topics e.g. tank inspection and maintenance, drones and robotics in confined space entries and digital twins.

Martin van de Heuvel van MISI consultancy will lead two specialized workshops on Minimum Intervention Strategy for Inspection. Participants will learn how to apply Non-Intrusive Inspection where possible, replacing human entries for inspection with robot inspections, as well as reducing the scope for turnarounds by optimizing the use of Risk Based Inspection analysis.
In addition to the various workshops, Quasset Academy also offers high-quality asset management training courses in collaboration with The Woodhouse Partnership Limited. These IAM-acknowledged diploma training courses offer participants a deep-dive into the principles and practices of asset management for those seeking IAM Diploma qualification.

Achieve Breakthrough Deployment workshop series

Digital transformation and adopting new technology is a central theme for companies today.
Wanting to accelerate progress, how can you maximize the chances of success and effectively achieve breakthroughs in deployment? How can you best understand the critical success factors for making the actual deployments happen?

We recognize an industry need for more collaboration and knowledge sharing so that companies can translate innovation into practical added value.  We want to help bridge this gap by organizing the Achieve Breakthrough Deployment workshop series.
In partnership with Deployment Matters, we will organize a series of workshops throughout 2019 as part of the Quasset Academy.  These intensive 1-day workshops bring together experts, suppliers and end-users to explore specific industry topics and give participants a practical, hands-on approach to finding solutions.
We are very pleased to have found a partner in Deployment Matters for the Achieve Breakthrough Deployment workshops.  The Technology Catalogue launched by Deployment Matters provides a comprehensive overview of the best suppliers in the industry, offering end-users a more complete picture of technology to deploy.
In 2019, four Achieve Breakthrough Deployment workshops are planned, covering topics e.g. tank inspection and maintenance, drones and robotics in confined space entries and digital twins.

All of the Achieve Breakthrough Deployment workshops are free of charge, but by invitation only.

If you would like to participate in an Achieve Breakthrough Deployment workshop, or if you would like to suggest a specific topic for a workshop theme, please contact us.

Minimum Intervention Strategy for Inspection: Inspection Strategy 4.0

Martin van den Heuvel of MISI Consultancy will lead two specialized  workshops on Minimum Intervention Strategy for Inspection.
In this interactive training, participants will learn how to apply non-intrusive inspection where possible, replacing human entries for inspection with robot inspections, as well as reducing scope for turnarounds by optimizing the use of risk-based inspection analysis. The workshop also focuses on exploring the latest developments in the field of Robotics and  Non-Intrusive Inspection.

Advantages to implementing Inspection Strategy 4.0:

  • your current RBI strategy  will develop into an dynamic and auditable program of excellence RBI
  • you  will be able to reduce costs,  increase  production  and become more predictable
  • you will increase safety, reducing the chance of accidents and environment incidents and risks.

Results after the development and implementation of MISI:

  • cost reductions for shutdown related inspection work of up to 50%
  • significant reduction of confined space entries
  • an average 5 days reduction in turnaround time
