PILOTING update: I&M Intelligence and Visualization Portal
The latest edition of the PILOTING newsletter features the I&M Intelligence and Visualization Portal we have been developing. The Intelligence and Visualization Portal (IVP) serves as an advanced web-based platform for asset and inspection plan management, optimizing inspection planning workflows. It is a comprehensive, asset-driven interface that helps end users visualize and explore captured inspection data.
The IVP provides a unified asset-centric interface for all PILOTING use-cases and is built with different modules. These include: maintaining the asset and inspection plan information; creating, visualizing and annotating 3D models of assets to be inspected; and managing asset and inspection related files, such as standardized inspection PDF reports based on the captured inspection data during robotic missions.
Quasset is a part of PILOTING, a fourteen-member consortium that focuses on the use of robotic technologies to increase efficiency and quality of inspection and maintenance of aging infrastructures. PILOTING is a multi-year, European Horizon 2020 project working towards advancing the adaptation, integration, and demonstration of robotic solutions in an integrated platform which will be tested and evaluated in three large-scale pilots: refineries, bridges/viaducts, and tunnels with the involvement of all actors in the value chain.
